2021 has 12.9% of Skagway Municipality residents unemployed

Skagway Municipality recorded an unemployment rate of 12.9% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 121 people out of the 1,329 living in Skagway Municipality at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Skagway Municipality has increased compared to the 10% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Skagway Municipality was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 6.5%.
