Duties include: washing; fueling; performing pre-trip inspections on Capital Transit Busses and support vehicles; facility cleaning; and trash removal. Mechanic II: This journey-level mechanic position independently performs routine and complex maintenance and repairs on Capital Transit vehicles and equipment. This includes diesel and electric buses, paratransit vans, service support vehicles, and snow removal equipment.
