City and Borough of Juneau issued the following announcement on March 22.
The City and Borough of Juneau Parks & Recreation Department presents a free Movie in the Park this Saturday, March 26, at 6 p.m. – Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (PG). The movie will be shown at Dimond Park Field House, 2961 Riverside Drive. No reservations are required; simply show up. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Juneau Education Association and is part of its Read Across Alaska program.
Please note:
No food or drinks (besides water) are allowed on the turf in the Field House.
Feel free to bring pillows, blankets, and sleeping bags.
Masking is recommended. If you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 within three days of the movie showing, please do not attend.
Doors to the Field House will open at 5:45 p.m. with the show time at 6 p.m.
