Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation issued the following announcement on March 9.
DEC is issuing a Stage 1 alert for the Fairbanks Zone and a Stage 2 alert for the North Pole Zone valid Sunday March 6, 8:00 pm until Monday March 7, 12:00 pm. More information is available at: http://fnsbair.dec.alaska.gov
