In cities in Ketchikan Gateway Borough, 23 lawyers held active licenses to practice law in July compared to previous month

Cities in Ketchikan Gateway Borough recorded no change in the number of lawyers with active licenses in July compared to the previous month, according to the Alaska Bar Association.

In total, there were 23 active legal licenses registered in cities in Ketchikan Gateway Borough in July.

Out of the active licenses in cities in Ketchikan Gateway Borough, all of them were granted in the city of Ketchikan.

Alaska has no law schools, yet it maintains a higher-than-average ratio of lawyers compared to the relatively low overall population. In Alaska, there are now 2,486 attorneys actively practicing law and a total of 4,160 lawyers licensed to practice in the state.
