The City and Borough of Juneau Parks and Recreation Department (CBJ) requests your input on a planning study on the Bonnie Brae Access Trail to Treadwell Ditch. A public survey is open through 5 p.m. Saturday, July 15.

The CBJ is working in cooperation with the United States Forest Service and Federal Highway Administration to complete the study. The work is being funded by the Federal Lands Access Program. The planning process begins with a survey and will include additional public involvement, with the goal being a conceptual reconstruction plan for the trail.

Please take the survey to provide information on how you use the Bonnie Brae Access Trail, if you use this trail to access the Treadwell Ditch, and if alternate routes to the Treadwell Ditch should be developed.

The study will take about a year, with a planning document to be completed in spring 2024.
