From April 1, 2023 post.

Part of Calhoun Avenue will be closed to traffic beginning April 3 as CBJ and Admiralty Construction begin work on Phase II of the Calhoun Avenue Reconstruction Project. Work is expected to continue through July 2023.

The construction area will stretch from the intersection with W. 7th Street (by the Governor’s Mansion) to the intersection with Main Street. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout construction and the Juneau-Douglas City Museum will remain open to the public. Read more about closures and see a diagram here: bit.ly/3ZylGFp.

Work will take place Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Traffic control is subject to change and notification will be provided. Please watch for traffic control signs, road closures, construction equipment and personnel.

The City and Borough of Juneau, proHNS, and Admiralty Construction appreciate the understanding of the public while this critical reconstruction work is underway.

See bit.ly/3ZylGFp for contact information for questions about this project or to be added to the email list.
