Juneau School District Board of Education Has Selected Three Finalists

The Juneau School District Board of Education has selected three finalists for the position of Superintendent of Schools and will host a public forum featuring all three candidates on Monday, March 27 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at Thunder Mountain High School.

• Frank Hauser is an Alaskan educator with 25 years of experience currently serving as superintendent of the Sitka School District.

• Thom Peck has served for 35 years as a Montana educator currently in his 6th year as Lewistown Public Schools Superintendent.

• Dr. Carlee Simon currently works with Families Deserve Inclusive Schools and is former superintendent of Alachua County Public Schools in Florida. 

At the forum, the public will have an opportunity to hear from each candidate and then provide feedback via comment card or email.
