CBJ is excited to announce the Juneau Affordable Housing Fund has awarded a total of $2 million in funding for affordable housing projects to AWARE, Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority, Rooftop Properties, and St. Vincent de Paul Juneau following JAHF's 2022 competitive funding round. 

Here's the final list of projects approved at yesterday's Assembly meeting:

• AWARE: $200,000 for the Cordova Street Project• Tlingit Haida Regional Housing Authority: $500,000 for Kowee Phase 1• Rooftop Properties: $1.2 million for the Ridgeview Project• St. Vincent de Paul: $100,000 for preservation of affordable housing

The Juneau Affordable Housing Fund (JAHF) was established to promote the creation of affordable housing in the Capital City. On July 6, 2022 the CBJ Assembly made available $2,000,000 in funding for the current funding round to be used by for-profit and non-profit organizations, public and regional housing authorities, and tribal governments interested in the creation of affordable and middle-income housing in the City and Borough of Juneau.
