The Finance Department, Director’s Office, is hiring for a full-time Budget Analyst I/II.
This is a flexibly staffed position and will be hired at the level that best suites the selected applicant’s qualifications. Applicants hired at level I, after completion of the training plan, will be flexed up to level II.
Responsibilities include: analysis of revenues, expenditures, fund balances and pending legislation; conveying findings of analysis in easily understood graphs, charts, memos, technical briefs, and narratives; creation of budget forms, templates, schedules, and technical guidance; analyze budget submissions; technical budget process development; drafting ordinances; ensuring compliance; and more.
This position is located downtown in the Municipal Way Building. This position comes with full benefits and pays $61,211 to $74,470 annually depending on qualifications.
