Election Day is just five days away and many Juneau voters have already cast their ballots -- but if you haven't, you still have plenty of time. You can mail in your ballot, drop it off at a drop box, or visit a Vote Center, as long as you do it by 8 PM on Election Day, October 4. Find out how and where you can cast your ballot at bit.ly/JuneauVotes.
If you've voted already, you should still keep on eye on your mailbox. Of the 4,000 ballots the CBJ elections team has already received, just over 100 voters have been sent a "cure letter." If you receive one of these letters, it means there is an issue with your ballot envelope which needs to be addressed before your ballot can be approved for counting. (Remember, NO ballots will be counted until 8 PM October 4.)
Reasons for a cure letter include (but are not limited to) a missing signature, a missing personal identifier, or a signature/personal identifier that does not match what is on file with the Division of Elections.
