Wrangell Parks and Recreation 

Public Comment Period Outdoor Skeet Range Improvement Project June 17th, 2022

Wrangell Parks & Recreation submitted a proposal in March of 2022 to the Alaska Department of Fish & Game (ADF&G) Hunter Access Grant Program to seek funds to complete improvements to the Outdoor Skeet Range facility. Wrangell is one of eight projects being considered for funding. There are 1.7M dollars in requests with 1.5M dollars in available funding. The Wrangell Parks & Recreation department is encouraging members of the community to express support for this project via the public comment period process, facilitated by ADF&G.

Public comments regarding grant proposals can be sent to the program email address at DFG.DWC.HunterAccess@alaska.gov and comments will be accepted until 5 pm on Monday June 27, 2022.
