Public Notice from the Forest Service, Wrangell Ranger District Office:
The Forest Service is currently soliciting for bids to complete the hydrologic restoration and resurfacing work at Roosevelt Harbor.
If there is a successful bidder, work on the site could begin on June 1st, 2022.
People with working vehicles at Roosevelt Harbor are encouraged to move them to Deep Bay prior to June 1st and park them in-line with one of the numbered stakes. Please, do not parallel park.
The restoration is slated to be complete by August 1st, 2022.
All vehicles remaining at Roosevelt Harbor when work begins will be removed by the contractor.
