Of the 2,547 people living in Haines Borough in 2020, 44.4 percent (1,132) were women and 55.6 percent (1,415) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SE Alaska News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 173. In the 65 and over age range, there were 274 females and 311 males.
