Petersburg Borough recently issued the following announcement.
2022 Property Assessments have been mailed. If you have not received your assessment, or if you have received one in error, please contact the Borough Finance Office as soon as possible.
Please pay close attention to your assessment and the information on the back. Appeal deadline is March 31, 2022 by 4:30pm. Assessment and Appeal information can be found on the borough website or can be emailed or mailed to you at your request. If your appeal cannot be resolved with the assessor, the Board of Equalization will meet April 14, 2022 at 5pm. The burden of proof lies with the petitioner, and not with the Assessor.
