Of the 506 people living in Angoon city in 2019, 43.9 percent (222) were women and 56.1 percent (284) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SE Alaska News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 212-to-152. In the 65 and over age range, there were 32 females and 44 males.
